Do we need a reservation to ride on the bus?

 Tickets can be reserved by phone or the internet from the first of each month, which is two months before the boarding day. Although we have a prior reservation system, you can get on board if there are vacant seats on the day without the reservation. We don’t accept reservations on the day of the ride. You can purchase the tickets on a first-come-first-served basis. Please contact Tsugaru Shirakami Tour Desk (0172-85-3315) for information about seat availability on the day.

Is it possible to make a reservation on the day of the ride?

Although I made a reservation, I have not received the e-mail titled “Notification about your completed application”.

 If you don’t receive the e-mail, there is a possibility that the e-mail has been distributed to the spam mail folder. If you are taking measures against spam, give domain permission to the e-mail address (@suirikubus.jp) of our service.

Do you operate even if it rains?

 The tour will be operated even if it rains because the bus has a roof. However, the bus does not have window panes and raindrops will fall in your face while driving. Thus, please bring your raincoat.

Do you have a regular closed day?

 We are closed on Wednesday (The tour will be operated on October 31st (Wed.), 2018). There are other closed days due to regular maintenance and other events. Please check them on the front page of our websites. When we suspend the operation, we will let you know on our websites and the tour desk will assist you.。

On which occasions do you cancel your operation?

 The operation may be suspended and/or cancelled without advance notice due to weather conditions such as strong wind, fog, typhoon, snow, lightning, rising or falling lake surface level and so on. Make sure that you let us know your phone number to contact you on the boarding day so that we can inform you of cancellation of the tour.

What should I do if I am late for my reserved ride?

 It is necessary for you to check in 15 minutes before the departure. Passengers begin to get on the bus 10 minutes before the boarding time. If you are late, your reservation will be cancelled and the bus will depart. If you are late because of a traffic jam, let us know as soon as possible and we may be able to find later rides for which seats are still available.

Is it possible to enjoy the ride with our pets?

 Pets are not allowed to get on the bus. You can bring your service dogs such as guide dogs, but please let us know in advance.

Can I participate in your tour in a wheelchair?

 We are sorry, but there are no special lifts for wheelchairs in the bus (Passengers need to climb up and down five steps). Thus, our tour is not wheelchair accessible.

Is there a discount for people with disabilities?

 We do not offer discount for people with disabilities.

Is there any discount if we attend your tour as group participants?

 If the size of your group is equal to or larger than 15, we offer you 10% discount.

Can we charter your bus?

 If you would like to charter the bus, you need to pay the cost written below for each ride:

Can we use a credit card?

 You may use only the Nissenren card. We accept only same day settlement.

What should we do if we would like to cancel our reservations?

 Please contact Tsugaru Shirakami Tour Desk a day before the boarding day at 0172-85-3315 (9:00 ~ 17:00). As Wednesdays are closed, if the boarding day is Thursday, contact us two days before the day of the ride.

Is it possible to choose our seat position in the bus?

 Yes, you can choose the seat position, but only on the internet.

Is it possible to change our seat position?

 If you would like to change your seat position, please contact Tsugaru Shirakami Tour Desk. 0172-85-3315 (9:00~17:00)

Is it possible to change the number of participants after making a reservation?

 You can change it only by phone. Please call Tsugaru Shirakami Tour Desk. 0172-85-3315 (9:00~17:00)

Does the bus have air conditioners?

 Air conditioners are not equipped in the bus. Since you can bring bottled drinks with lids, please keep yourself well hydrated. In addition, please wear warm clothes on chilly days.

Will our clothes get wet due to water splash created when the bus enters the lake?

 You might get wet if you sit on the front-row seats. In addition, you might get wet depending on the direction of the wind.

Do you offer guidance in other languages?

 Even though we don’t offer guidance in other languages, we will provide leaflets describing precautions.

Is it possible to eat and drink in the bus?

 A You cannot bring any food. Only bottled drinks with lids such as plastic bottles and water bottles are allowed in the bus. Especially in summer, you must ensure that you keep yourself well hydrated.
